New Song Of The Wave - Meet Fusha ' Time Right Now '
Eugene Kofi better known as "FUSHA" found his love of music at a very early age. While in school, he would sing in church and played the keyboard.
After moving to New York from Ghana at the age of 13 years old, his influence in Hip Hop music grew after the likeness of artist like
Jay-Z, Nas and Jadakiss. He remembers when he first bought Jay-Z’s album, it was too precious he didn’t open it.
In 2003 he joined a group called Corsica and by 2004 he was introduced to a recording studio in Brooklyn, NY where he recorded his first single FLATBUSH ANTHEM. He later left the group and moved to Massachusetts.
While in Massachusetts, Fusha has worked with Gary O'neil of O'neil Productions and Azoozo of Azoozo Recording. Some of his best work came from his collaboration with Azoozo such as "ALEWA" "CAKEUP" "FLEX" "HENNESSY" "GOGOME" and "POPPIN BANDS" along side his Director Monakey Pictures who has done most of his music videos.
"Music is my life, my life I give it 100," said Fusha. "Everything that I say in my music is either something that has happened to me or what is going on with me."
Time Right Now is his latest single from his album Full Metal Jacket. “ I’ve been in the music industry for such a long time” Fusha said, that for him to put out this record “Time Right Now”, is a showcase of how hard its been a struggle for him that it’s finally his time.
