For those who are not familiar with Daa Kant music, what can you tell us about your style and music?

" My music style is way different and it is different because I listened to and see many Liberian Artists making the same music and have the same style . That is not helping Liberian music industry move up any further. So that's why I decided to come up with my own different unique style"

How did you come up with your stage name?

"  I been through a lot to a point where everybody thought I wasn't going to make it. I was setup by this Liberian lady who used to be my best closest friend -for almost 10 years. I got locked up for no reason, I took them for trial and beat the case. Then came to find out it was all a setup and that's how I came up the name. My first name DANIEL Last name KANDA Then made it up to "DAA KANT" which stand for They Can't Stop Me  "

 What genre of music do you fit into?

" These are the categories I trained myself in ; Reggae, RnB and Hip Pop. I want to take Liberian music worldwide,not just in Liberia. I want when people hear me, they should ask is he a Liberian? . I'm MAPPING IT UP "

' Come touch ' is a Hot song,  how can fans get hold of the single? And what inspired you to write it?

It is a hot song but actually there are more hot songs on my whole "FOREIGN MONEY" project. It's out now and available for free download "

" This is the story behind the song. I have always been a nice guy , always smiling & complimenting the ladies on how good and beautiful they look , no matter how they feel about themselves. but yet I'm also the type of man that don't just fall for any beautiful girl like that cause I feel it's a trap.

In America you always gone be tempted by these girls just by the way they dress. How they be dancing in the clubs, you be like ohh my! I just want to touch or feel her body right now. That's how I came up with the song 'Come Touch' "

Are you nominated for the LMA ? ( Liberian Music Awards. )

" Noooo.

They don't know anything about me or my music. They just started  to view my moves. At first they never thought I was the type that do music "

" Yes I did but never saw my name in any of the categories "

Keep making them hits, hopefully next year you will get a Nomination. Who have you collaborated with on the Foreign Money project?

" Thanks,  I'm working on a lot of new music right now.  I have a Song called Rude Boy,  the girl on that song name is Kareesh. She is American, we met at a American music competition. She saw me performing and that's how she asked me if I can work with her , she wanted to make different music and since then we both have been working together "

" All my Features on this project is with American artists.

Too many excuses from african artists and I like to always remain focused. However I'm willing to work with any Liberian Artist so we can step up our music game "

What does Music mean to you?

"  Music mean a lot to me because it is a gift. This is not something I learned or practice to do. I heard a voice calling me by my real name "Daniel" to get up and write a song. After this happened ,I have never given up sense "
