It has been a while sense the release of Vow , a song about romance and the pledge of ones love. Liberian Singer / Songwriter Douk De LIB is back ; this time with a HOT party single titled ' prove it here ' , The song is a guarantee party starter. With the release of his new single and New sound, we had to catch up with the star to find out more about ' prove it here ' and the latest on Douk Music.

 Douk De LIB was born in Liberia and is now based in the United states. Alvin Kpuo who's stage name is Douk De LIB, first started singing in his church choir at the age of 6.


Who / what is your musical influence ?


" 2 face, Dbanj, Douk Saga, that's where I got my stage name from and Ray Charles. However I look up to Don Jazzi the most "


What genre is Douk Music ?

" Afro dance "

Your New album " Next Level, what can fans expect of the album?

" Dance from start till end "


Is there any collaborations on your upcoming Album ?


" yes I have worked with , JB Soul Fresh, Lil Bishop, ILL Phil "

Tell us more about yourself , Douk De LIB Music and what it represents ?


" I'am Hardworking determined and Passionate. At team Douk we Show love to fellow Liberian Artists ; my music is authentic. I Love music and I'm Result oriented. LMA ( Liberian music awards) nominated Vow for best video , I'm honored. I also enjoy writing New songs everyday "


What inspired you to write your previous single vow?


" Actually the love of that special woman "


Can you tell us more about your new single ' Prove It Here and the Album?


" Prove it here challenges the listeners to dance and show their dancing skills. The album will have a variety of music ; love songs, dance etc "


What can we expect from Douk Music this year? Any new projects?


" Well a new album called Next Level, and a music video for prove it here. the rest will unfold with time. At Douk music, we don't do too much talking we just like to do it lol "

" The single was digitally released via Tunecore, it will be in all the stores sometime this week. it's a surprise so we wont tell u when , but like my Facebook page to find out which store and when . Download links will also be available on the page soon "

Rumors Swell Of A Deng-CIC Collaboration

Fans of Deng and C-I-C are once more nervously anxious as rumors swell of another round of will-they-or won't-they: LSV has confirmed that the managements of African Entertainment & SOG met at an undisclosed venue to begin talks of a collaboration. "I'm one hundred percent certain that this time it's a done deal; the public should expect a brand new single from both artists in a matter of weeks. It's a done deal." a source close to Deng told LSV. Rumors of a Deng-CIC collaboration have been filtering in the air since at least before CIC accident when Deng management initially abandoned talks to attend a concert in Europe.
