Lil Beshop :
"I started making Hip co music, due to the Liberian people way of speaking & understanding. I felt compelled do hipco. The difference between hip pop & hipco is the lingo, although hip co uses similar beats . Hip co is different and is like patio, it has more power than hip pop in liberia. If patio can be accepted in music, I believe in a few years from now hipco will be "
Mel G.o.d-d :
" In my opinion hip hop is a lifestyle, and I feel hip co is the same. the only difference is that hip co has a Liberian twist to it. I cant really say much about the future of hip co , however moving forward I would hope for a breakthrough in the music industry worldwide. This is because hip co music is something we can say is ours!! "
Lil Beshop:
"My thoughts on Liberian artists doing hip pop music is, I feel they should infuse it with hip co to give its different flavour . To be honest Hip pop cant blow right now in lib , hip co has taken over and seized the ground because koloqua is the street talk. Liberians in Iberia can relate to it more "
