LIBERIAN STARS WE CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF....

At Liberian Stars View we take pride in being the eye of the Liberian entertainment industry. Therefore We have been paying close attention at who is working, who have the people talking , and who is killing it on the fashion scene. With that being said,  every month we will select Liberian entertainers we just can't get enough of ( stars who keep us entertained). These stars have a strong work ethic, they are doing great things within the entertainment Industry and within the Liberian community.

K ZEE -  Singer / Songwriter K Zee is currently in Liberia building on his fan base and working on various collaborations with Liberian based artists . I got to meet the man himself on several occasions in December and I must say he is a gentleman and is humble / down to earth. The word on the street is that, he will be recording a remix of ( Liberian based artist BENEVEE hit Song ) 'call  the police '.  The pair also spoke of doing a collaboration in my presence ( We cannot wait to hear it !!!)

MUNNAH - Our #LIB Princess, she is always on trend and  fabulous ! There is no doubt she is working hard (I mean we cannot keep up with her) she recently premiered the video of her HOT new single ' Celebration ' on Star Nation TV. Make sure you purchase her EP ' My Music My Way' and like her Facebook Fan page to keep up with her upcoming projects

MR SMITH ( aka LIB MONEY)  - " UH UH, YOU FRISKY "  Mr Smith is one of my favorite Liberian Rappers,  his music is universal . Besides being talented he encourages the youth of Liberia to build on their talent.  He owns, mr smith entertainment record label which got registered under the Government of Liberia in 2007, He also hosts free style rap competitions in the capital ( monrovia)  for the youths . 

At LSV we do not only report but we interact with our stars and let me just say we have more to report on Mr Smith, he is making Big moves to take our entertainment industry further.  March 15 ( save the date) Mr Smith Will be teaming up with Sound City TV from Nigeria to host a big musical concert featuring few artists from Nigeria and Ghana , which will feature 15 Liberian Artists ( we are looking forward to it) . TAKUN J -  Without a doubt Takun J,  is the face if Hip Co music and We cannot get enough of him. His EP can now be purchased and it sends out a powerful message; he stands firmly against rape and violence. With the help of his Manager Nora,  the duo purpose is to put Hip Co music on the map ! And also " To share the power of Hip Co,  as a tool for social change "(  in the words of Nora )

Here we are weeks after the most talked about events held in Monrovia, the Wiz Kid and Timaya show, sponsored by Sound City and Novaphone . Many opinions and views have been floating around the worldwide web, by supporters and non-supporters .  Whilst some may see these events to be an accomplishment for Liberians and a Gateway to numerous opportunities etc. At LSV , we believe these event are a wake up call, that WE as citizens have to take charge of our progressing entertainment industry . Rumors Swell Of A Deng-CIC Collaboration

Fans of Deng and C-I-C are once more nervously anxious as rumors swell of another round of will-they-or won't-they: LSV has confirmed that the managements of African Entertainment & SOG met at an undisclosed venue to begin talks of a collaboration. "I'm one hundred percent certain that this time it's a done deal; the public should expect a brand new single from both artists in a matter of weeks. It's a done deal." a source close to Deng told LSV. Rumors of a Deng-CIC collaboration have been filtering in the air since at least before CIC accident when Deng management initially abandoned talks to attend a concert in Europe.
