Well done Alicia Keys!! However we need more supportive parents that take initiative in their children education by build a working relationship with your child’s teacher. Visit the school, unannounced sometimes, to see how your child is doing. Our children don’t remember us for the brand name clothes we purchase, but for our ongoing support and love. And if you don’t show any initiative, your children won’t show any initiative also. We need to support our children. It has become a trend that many don't show up at Parents &Teachers meetings or other functions that has to do with our children’s education. Let’s all try to be better Parents and get involved with our kids’ future, It’s paramount for the advancement of today’s youth.
