Sport day in Monrovia, Liberia

Sunday , August 18 was memorably observed in Liberia as Sports Day of the week long Celebration of a of Peace . The national Security played soccer against the Press Union of Liberia . The match ended One all . In the Second game, the Kickball squad of the Legisla
ture was defeated 5 to 4 .
In football , the Legislature walloped the Executive 3 goals to 1.
The games were played at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville and witnessed by scores of Liberians including President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf .

Here we are weeks after the most talked about events held in Monrovia, the Wiz Kid and Timaya show, sponsored by Sound City and Novaphone . Many opinions and views have been floating around the worldwide web, by supporters and non-supporters .  Whilst some may see these events to be an accomplishment for Liberians and a Gateway to numerous opportunities etc. At LSV , we believe these event are a wake up call, that WE as citizens have to take charge of our progressing entertainment industry . As the popular Liberian saying goes " The street wouldn't buy you , if your family doesn't sell you ". Rumors Swell Of A Deng-CIC Collaboration

Fans of Deng and C-I-C are once more nervously anxious as rumors swell of another round of will-they-or won't-they: LSV has confirmed that the managements of African Entertainment & SOG met at an undisclosed venue to begin talks of a collaboration. "I'm one hundred percent certain that this time it's a done deal; the public should expect a brand new single from both artists in a matter of weeks. It's a done deal." a source close to Deng told LSV. Rumors of a Deng-CIC collaboration have been filtering in the air since at least before CIC accident when Deng management initially abandoned talks to attend a concert in Europe.
